Definition of Generation AI
- A generation learning with AI, creating with it, questioning it, and preparing to lead in a world where intelligence is no longer exclusively human.
- A generation defined not only by when it was born, but by how it learns to live alongside artificial intelligence.
Generation AI is not generative AI.
It refers to people: a generation growing up alongside artificial intelligence.
02The idea
Not simply
an age bracket.
Generation AI is not another label meant to replace Gen Z or Gen Alpha. It describes a relationship with technology and intelligence.
We are growing up at a moment when AI is becoming part of how we learn, create, communicate, solve problems, and imagine the future.
We are not the first generation to encounter technology. We may be among the first to grow up with artificial intelligence woven into everyday life.
03Why Generation AI?
The relationship
is the point.
We chose Generation AI because the most important conversation is not only what AI can do. It is what happens to the people learning to live, work, and create alongside it.
For TEDx Centreville Chicopee Youth, the theme creates room for many perspectives. It invites speakers to ask better questions about the future we are already helping to shape.
